Gant Hill, CCIM, is President and Principal Broker of Venterra Realty, a real estate services firm specializing in real estate investments and landlord representation. In this role, he has overseen the acquisition of $60 million in client and personal acquisitions since 2003. Additionally, he has overseen the sale of several mixed-use (residential and commercial) projects in the Louisville Kentucky Central Business District, and is a recognized leader in the rapid sale and marketing of complicated property.
Prior to forming Venterra Realty, Gant served as Principal Broker of CITY Properties Realty where he oversaw a team of eight associates in the marketing and leasing of a 1,000,000 square foot historic, mixed-use and adaptive reuse portfolio.
Specializing in the sales and marketing of Class B commercial property in the Southeastern region, as well as the sale of distinctive homes in Louisville, Gant’s focus is on repositioning properties to become quality, stabilized investments.
Venterra Realty, founded in 2003, offers clients a team of savvy real estate professionals who are regarded as specialists in the full range of property sales - from commercial properties and urban lofts to homes in the suburbs and land in the county.
Gant served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) Institute, based in Chicago, IL, and also served as the Region 7 vice president, overseeing the CCIM chapter activities in seven Midwest Chapters. Prior his appointment to this respected role, he was president of the Kentucky CCIM Chapter, overseeing a membership of over 215 real estate professionals.
Additionally, he was appointed by the mayor of Louisville, KY, to serve on the Board of Directors of the Louisville Downtown Management District.
Gant remains active in organizations that are consistent with his passions - real estate and education – currently serving as a director or advocate for several community non-profit organizations, with missions ranging from reclaiming inner-city youth to finding new life in historic property. In honor of his community service and professional accomplishments, Gant was named as one of the “Forty Under Forty” by Business First of Louisville and nominated to the Leadership Louisville Class of.
A licensed real estate professional since the age of 18, Gant received a BA in Finance from the University of Louisville.
